The Fashion Futures Awards launched in May 2015 in partnership with the British Fashion Council in London, before heading to New York for the first US edition, with the support of W magazine.

 

Judged by an elite panel of international experts, the awards return to London this May. Entries will be judged on creativity, innovation, experience and consumer connection.

 

This is an event for disruptors, visionaries and innovators pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Fashion and Retail.

Today, customer experience – the heart of all interactions between brands and consumers – is increasingly powered by new technologies and brand experiences. This award recognises a brand that has used technology to enhance the in-store experience for their consumer.

Most engaging campaign launch that has increased brand awareness

In this new landscape, technology has increasingly become the catalyst for creativity and ROI during major events in the fashion calendar. This award recognises the most creative use of technology to engage, promote and connect to go beyond the runway.

Digital Coalition

Best brand and tech collaboration

Many brands are seeking out opportunities to innovate through collaborations with tech, while startups have been able to enhance their offerings through partnerships with fashion and retail brands. This category aims to recognise a collaboration between a startup and a fashion industry player with proven business impact.

The Game Changer

Startup set to disrupt fashion in 2017

Technology evolves every quarter, opening up new possibilities for fashion and retail – and a lot of the ideas come from small startups with incredible technology. This award highlights a startup that’s making waves in the fashion and retail industry this year.

Master of Mobile

Most innovative use of mobile

Mobile-based commerce has been growing exponentially as one of the most disruptive changes affecting the industry. This award aims to recognise the brand, retailer or start-up leading the revolution in fashion and retail. Whether it’s through a mobile app, a new payment solution or messaging, this category celebrates the unique innovations that mobile technology is creating for fashion and retail.
